Job Description

Position open for a BC/BE Family Practice physician. Candidate must be interested in a rural practice that includes ER call and low volume OB. Can also do Endoscopy and other procedures. PRACTICE PROFILE Provider Staff includes 7 Family Practice physicians, a CRNA and 2 FNPs. All medical staff practice low volume OB; 3 privileged for C-sections. Most do endoscopy, 2 perform additional surgical procedures. Service area population 15,000. OB 85 deliveries/year. ER 2,000 visits/year. Wage/Benefit Package: • Employed position $145,000. ($120,000 base salary, $25,000 ER-call compensation). • Additional production bonus based on income generated above $120,000 base salary. • Insurances: Malpractice coverage Health insurance for physician and family; Disability and Life insurances for physician. • Retirement benefit. After the first year, the hospital contributes an amount equal to 6% of gross earnings to 401K-type program. Physician can contribute to the program immediately. • 5 days CME/year; $5000 CME expenses; $1,500 for dues, memberships, licensure fees. • 20 days vacation/year. • Physical Therapy/Fitness Center with Wellness incentive program for staff. • All reasonable moving expenses negotiable. Work and Call Schedule: • Work in clinic 4 days/week. Average # clinic visits per practitioner, 18-20/day. • Rotate equally for ER call. Hospital and Clinics: • 25-bed hospital and 4 medical clinics • Newly built 12,000 square foot medical clinic • Physicians travel on a regular schedule to the satellite clinics. • 3 Physical Therapy clinics. • 24-hour availability of Lab and X-ray; teleradiology for emergent readings. • CAT scan on-site 24/7. Mobile MRI available 1 x /week. • Ultrasound equipment on site, technician 3 x /week; ECHO cardiogram available 1 x /week. • Bone density screening and treadmill for cardiac stress testing on site. • Cardiac Rehabilitation program on-site. • Heliport on campus for emergency transport • Primary referral hospital is a 120-bed facility 60 minutes away, in Lewiston, ID. • Specialists in orthopedics and cardiology visit the clinic on a regular schedule.
