Job Description
Join a large primary care group south of Pittsburgh with 7 offices. The office that is hiring has 4 physicians and is replacing a physician who is moving for family reasons. Work Monday to Friday in the office. See 20 to 28 patients per day. Call is 1 in 6 weeks for both admitting and rounding. During the other weeks no hospital work. The average inpatient census is 15 to 25 for all 6 physicians. Work at only one hospital with over 225 beds and 200 physicians on staff. This is an employed position with a competitive base salary starting in the $130,000 range for a new graduate plus bonuses and it increases with experience. The group also provides malpractice with tail, relocation, 15 vacation days the first year, 9 holidays, 5 days CME plus a $1,500 allowance, health for the physician and family at no cost, short and long term disability, $125,000 life insurance policy, paid licenses and dues and more. The community is 45 miles from Pittsburgh and is a great family area. The local population is 15,000 and the serving area is 100,000. Great schools and affordable housing. Historic community dating back to the mid 1700s.
