Job Description
Healthcare system seeks Gastroenterologist for solo practice. Competitive recruitment package include guaranteed salary ($400K plus signing bonus) for one or two years, relocation, practice management consultant and marketing services, malpractice insurance, vacation, health insurance and more. New acute-care hospital complex is set to break ground in early 2007 with an estimated opening date of November 2009. The completed facility will have 400 beds. Currently, the 175-bed hospital services a population of about 145,000. Opportunity to work with Family Practice Residents in teaching capacity. The growing community retains a peaceful, small-town quality while being strategically situated in the center of three major federal highway systems; making for easy travel to the larger metropolitan areas and major recreational venues. The coastal cities of Carmel, Monterey and San Francisco are only a two hour drive and the majestic Yosemite National Park is only 80 miles away. Closer to home, Sacramento, Modesto and Fresno are within easy reach for expanded shopping, dining and cultural activities. This community just added the tenth campus of the University of California system to its location and has gained about 10,000 in population in the last five years.
