Job Description
We currently have 2 GIs, both in solo practice and it takes several weeks for a patient to get an appointment with either. PCPs tell us that they routinely refer patients to Savannah due to difficulty in getting a patient to be seen by our GIs. Also, we do not have consistent hospital coverage and inpatient consultants are often not seen for several days. Needless to say, we have an urgent need for a new GI partner. Major consideration is training and communication skills. Current GI would like somebody with relative recent training and interested in becoming a partner. Call Schedule for Group: 1-2, hospital 1-3. Unassigned Call: 1-3 (However surgeons also take some GI call). Hours (Monday – Friday) 8:30-5pm. Excellent overall compensation package.
