Our client, located in North Central Michigan, is currently seeking to fill the position of Family Practice, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, Orthopedic, Pediatric and Urology Physician. Job Description

  • Most offices are located in professional medical building attached to the hospital. All practices utilize an Electronic Health Record that is shared within the medical group and hospital with remote access.
  • Each provider has an assigned clinical staff member to assist them. A full training team supports coding documentation and software issues.
  • Designated Patient Centered Medical Home.
  • Includes four federally qualified Rural Health Clinics where Physicians enjoy practicing broad based medicine treating a wide variety of illnesses and conditions and utilizing all their skills.
  • Proactive Administration team provides support and attention to Physician needs.



  • Board Certified or Board Eligible.
  • Stable work/training history without prior history of License or disciplinary action.
  • Family Practice, Internal Medicine, OBGYN, Orthopedic, Pediatric or Urology background.



  • Established traditional office practice joining two Physicians and a nurse practitioner.
  • Flexible scheduling with newly expanded hours 8am to 7pm Mon-Fri and Saturday mornings.
  • Proud participant in the Reach out and Read program where children are given age appropriate book to promote literacy, at their well child visits.
  • Participant in Vaccines for Children programs.
  • Minimal travel to off-site clinics may be required.


Position Profile

  • Seeking quality candidates with a congenial personality and a team player attitude to help deliver quality patient-focused care and meet the needs of the practices.
  • Board Certified or Boad Eligible if has plans to complete board Certification within two years of completion of training or hire.
  • Stable work/training history without prior history of License or disciplinary action.
  • Strong computer skills with prior electronic medical record use preferred.
  • Excellent English communication skills required due to minimal ethnic diversity in the area.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, hospital personnel and community members.
  • Eligible for Michigan State Loan Repayment program and NHSC funds.
  • Potential longevity and community fit a high priority for consideration.
