Join 15 other hospitalists and a superb midlevel team. Training ranges from internal medicine to family practice. They each carry a full load of "general admission” patients and take new admissions or consults that may come in during the day. Intensivists are always available to assist with critical patients for procedures such as central line placement, intubation, chest tubes, etc. Work 7 days on with 7 days off with 12 hour shifts and 24 hour double coverage. You’ll average 15-18 patients during the day. Hospital is a Level II Trauma Center which services over 450k residents.
