APN Position Descriptions

We are a Community Mental Health Center located in Woodbury, NJ (about ½ hour across the bridge from Philadelphia).  We are exclusively outpatient.  We work with the chronically mentally ill.  The APN would see about 85% adults and see about 15% under the age of 18.  If they do not have a lot of experience under the age of 18, we have Child Psychiatristswho will train them.    The APN would do Psychiatric Evaluations and Medication appointments.

One position (40 hours a week) is completely based at the Woodbury office.  The other position is about 37 hours a week and is based in Sewell NJ.  This second position goes between 3 different sites seeing outpatients in partial care, intensive outpatient program and working in the community to link patients coming out of jail with mental health services.  

The pay is $46.77 an hour.  We will add another 8% to the person’s pension after 1 year of work with us (they gradually become vested in this over 5 years:  100% vested after 6 years). They would get 6 weeks vacation and 8 paid holidays as well as 1 sick day a month, and 2 conference days a year.  There is no call or weekend work.
