Job Description
The Hospitalist Team of 5 full and part-time physicians will provide on-site service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Day shifts are generally 7am - 7pm, night shifts from 7 pm-7 am, and the schedule will consist of four to seven days on and four to seven days off. Each full time hospitalist will work 192 hours of clinical professional medical services per month, consisting of approximately 12 and eight-hour shifts. The Hospitalist Team will provide service response for codes, consultations, inpatient episodic medical care, ICU procedures, unassigned ED call and patient admission/discharge. The Hospitalist Program is an integral component for the delivery of inpatient healthcare at the Hospital. (#624)
