(login to see company) is seeking Residency Trained physicians with recent ED experience for openings in Tiffin, Ohio.

Mercy Hospital of Tiffin is a general, acute care facility characterized by its family-centered care. It is owned by Mercy Health Partners (MHP) which encompasses six acute care hospitals and is the preferred provider of healthcare services for a 20-county area in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. The hospital offers a broad range of specialties including general patient services, diagnostic services, rehabilitation programs, occupational and physical therapy, and a sleep lab.

The Emergency Department at MHT has an annual volume of 14,600 and operates 24 hours a day with single physician coverage and 8 hours of Nurse Practitioner coverage.

Physicians work 12-hour shifts and receive excellent back-up provided by medical staff; excellent nursing staff and nurse management. They also work closely with the city and county EMS teams.

Candidates must be Board Certified and Residency Trained in a Primary Care Specialty with recent ED experience. Requirements also include current ACLS and ATLS certification. Candidates must obtain PALS certification within 12 months.
