Small facility in central west Wyoming seeks BC/BE Neurologist looking to practice in this beautiful rural setting. This opportunity offers SPLENDID income opportunity as a private contractor, sign on bonus, relocation assistance, among others. The Hospital's medical services and caring staff work together to provide patients with a completely coordinated continuum of care, from acute and sub-acute inpatient medical services to outpatient services and programs, including a 24-hour dedicated physician-staffed emergency room, intensive care unit, physical therapy and sleep study lab. Riverton Memorial Hospital has some of the finest imaging equipment in the state, with a 64 slice helical CT-Scanner, 1.5 MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Digital Ultrasound equipment is the latest addition to the imaging services offered. Presently undergoing a multi-million dollar expansion with major renovations to the Emergency Room, Outpatient Surgery and Radiology. The area has 9,394 square miles, represents the primary service area, with a population of approximately 37,000. The population of the city is approximately 10,000. The presence of the Wind River Indian Reservation, home of the Eastern Shoshone and Northern Arapahoe Indian Tribes, represents a strong population and cultural influence in this area. People are drawn from around the Wind River Basin for work, shopping and pleasure. In addition to healthcare, employment opportunities in the area range from jobs in government and energy, to precision instrument manufacturing, retail and construction. Agriculture and ranching continue to be major economic and social influences in the community. The city has had continuous commercial air service since 1947, and has daily round-trip flights out of its modern airport. The area offers easy access to major metropolitan areas such as Salt Lake City, Utah, Billings, Montana, and Denver, Colorado an easy half-day drive away. The city has a telecommunications system comparable to that of much larger urban communities.
