Physical Medicine and Rehab (PM&R) Physiatrist Tampa, FL

We are looking for a Physical Medicine and Rehab Physician or Physiatrist to join our multispecialty medical group in Tampa, FL. This is an amazing opportunity for the right candidate who possesses an interest in Musculoskeletal Medicine, Electrodiagnostic Medicine and General Outpatient Rehabilitation, as well as being hard working, motivated and ambitious. We are offering a flexible schedule with the physician providing care within our office 2-4 times per month (weekly or every other week).

We are a multidisciplinary medical and rehabilitation center that provides high-quality comprehensive care to the community of Tampa. Our decades of experience and multispecialty approach help us to listen to each patient’s individual health care needs and goals and collaborate to make comprehensive treatment plans for improved patient satisfaction and optimal care. We treat a variety of patients from health and wellness to acute/traumatic injuries, work comp, and motor vehicle accidents, and are looking to add a pain management/physiatrist to our team to provide a variety of treatments.

Duties:

• Medical evaluation- patient exam, review pertinent medical history/records, HPI
• Evaluate clinical data
• Order/read/review Diagnostic imaging and tests
• Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
• Perform Electrodiagnostic testing (NVC/EMG), US guided joint injections, Fluoroscopic Guided Spinal injections, Regen med procedures, and minimally invasive surgical procedures
• Referral to specialists/therapy as needed
• Collaboration with other specialists for comprehensive care
• Regular patient re-evaluations to ensure patient treatment goals are being met
• Documentation- timely and accurate notes and records

Qualifications:

• BCBE Physical Medicine and Rehab (PMR) or Physiatrist (MD or DO)
• Current medical license in FL

Schedule:

• Part time
• 2 -4 times per month (weekly or every other week)

Compensation:

• $3k-$4k (plus commission) daily
