We are looking for a physician to join our medical group, to provide direct patient care as well as supervision of the PA/NPs on staff at our office in Lexington, KY. We are flexible in our need and will consider someone looking for either part time or full time (4-5 days per week).
The physician’s duties will be to perform patient consultations, orthopedic focused exams and administer joint injections in an out-patient setting for our clinic. Great work/life balance with no call, nights, or holidays. The right candidate will be seeing patients, reviewing patient charts/X-Rays/MRIs to determine the best possible course of action and treatment for their pain. We will consider Physicians with a wide variety of backgrounds but are ideally seeking a physician with injection (spinal and joint) experience, someone who is familiar with and very supportive of regen medicine.

Duties:
- New Patient consultations
- Direct patient care (history and physical exams focused on joint injuries) Review patient records as needed
- Treatment plan formulation and recommend options for patients
- Answer patient’s questions and concerns
- Perform injections/procedures- to include joint/spinal injections (PRP, Stem cells)
- Supervisory role of the PA/NP, Be available via phone/text for remote guidance when not in the clinic
- Oversee medical operations
- Perform randomized patient/chart review to assure proper treatment procedures are being followed
- Availability for consultation and direction of the PA/NP
Requirements:
- MD or DO License to Practice Medicine in KY
- BCBE in Pain Management/PM&R, Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, or Emergency Medicine preferred
- Regen Medicine experience preferred, familiar with and very supportive of regenerative medicine
- Prior experience/background in joint/spinal injections required
Schedule:
- Part-time or Full time (4 – 5 days/week)
- Current office hours are Tues – Fri 8 am- 5/6 pm
Compensation:
- $1500 - $2500 / day (Potential for full time, salary TBD)
