Experienced Employed Heart Failure Cardiologist 1 Hour from Raleigh
Prestigious cardiology group is recruiting an experienced cardiologist to join a well-established advanced heart failure and mechanical circulatory support program in eastern NC. Candidates must be advanced heart failure fellowship trained (following general cardiology fellowship training).
Job Highlights include:
- Established advanced heart failure and mechanical circulatory support program with two advanced heart failure cardiologists, heart failure surgeon, heart failure pharmacist, heart failure social worker, six heart failure advanced practice providers, and heart failure certified nurses

- Several state of the art heart failure clinics serving multiple regional locations in eastern NC.
- Academic experience rounding on the inpatient service supervising medicine residents and general cardiology fellows.
- Active participation in multiple heart failure clinical trials and registries
- Joint Commission- certified destination LVAD center
- Pulmonary hypertension program with dedicated pulmonary hypertension clinic and inpatient management
- Invasive procedures including heart catheterization and CardioMEMS
- Established CardioMEMS center
- Established cardiogenic shock program with dedicated ECMO team and CICU critical care service
- 29 county referral network that includes 1.5 million residents
