Seeking a Family Medicine Core Faculty member with obstetrics experience to join our passionate team in La Crosse, WI. Must have a strong interest in teaching. We are looking to fill this position in the spring/summer of 2024. Practice Highlights: and#183; Precept on average 4-5 half days per week in the Family Medicine Residency Clinicand#183; See patients in clinic 2-3 half days per week.and#183; 1 half day per week of administration time for academic reasons. 1 day per week out of clinic, unless on call/delivering and#183; Participate in mentoring, didactic, educational activities such as simulation, procedural workshops and other educational activities as deemed necessaryand#183; Participate in academic interests such as research as deemed necessary by the PDand#183; Participate in regular faculty meetings on a weekly basis in the FMRCand#183; Participate in the CCC (Clinical Competency Committee - evaluating our residents) and PEC (Program Evaluation Committee - evaluating our program) meetings for the residencyand#183; Minimal call (approximately on call for phone triage 6 weeks per year)and#183; Preference for inpatient newborn care and postpartum care for patientsand#183; Prior teaching experience and faculty development training would be a plus Compensation and Benefits: Competitive salary Loan forgiveness Generous benefits, including CME time and monetary allowance, retirement plan and more.
