PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR
We are looking for a full-time, exceptionally organized, and dynamic Patient Care Coordinator responsible for our healthcare team’s administrative and medical tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and be able to prioritize tasks efficiently, be interested in or well-versed in working in Gender Affirming Care, and be enthusiastic about managing various tasks on any given day.
What You’ll Do ? Administrative tasks include answering incoming calls and routing them appropriately, handling faxes, preparing necessary paperwork for surgery, and forwarding media requests. ? Responding to patients’ inquiries on applying for surgery, scheduling consultations, pricing, and resources. ? Schedule and confirm patient appointments: collect and upload all necessary documents into patients’ digital charts. ? Intaking patients on clinic days and turning over the clinic rooms. ? Collecting payments for office visits, surgery balances, and notary documents. ? Conducting post-operative follow-up calls with patients. ? Maintaining a clean and organized clinic by regularly stocking the clinic rooms and autoclaving surgical instruments. ? Assisting in minor procedures and preparing lab requests. ? Comply with HIPAA Security Rule.
Who We’re Looking For ? Medical Assistant background is strongly preferred. ? Experience in medical environments preferred. ? Someone who is interested in or well-versed in working with the LGBTQIA+ community. ? Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. ? Be able to work in both a team environment and independently. ? Fluency in Google and Adobe programs and confident learning new programs. ? Ability to work efficiently, working on multiple projects with appropriate prioritization, adhering to deadlines, and adapting to evolving circumstances. ? Someone who is able to work in front of a computer screen for much of a typical workday. ? A U.S citizen or permanent resident who can legally work in the U.S.
What We Offer ? $58,000 - $68,000 annual salary, depending on experience. ? Two weeks annual paid vacation and paid Federal Holidays. ? Full-paid health insurance benefits with dental and vision insurance options available too. ? Simple IRA plan with a 3% match.
