Neurologist Philadelphia, PA

Part time

We are seeking a compassionate Neurologist to join our medical practice part time in the Philadelphia, PA area.  Our ideal Neurologist has tact and skill in patient management, excellent communication skills, and enjoys working as a part of a comprehensive team to offer our patients the best care possible, that they need and deserve! The Neurologist will be working 1-2 days per month, and if they do EMGs, it would 1-2 days per week. Legal experience and willing to do depositions a plus.

Job Duties:

• Patient care and management
• Recommend tests and conducts diagnostic testing to determine extent of injury and to determine appropriate treatment.
• Order Diagnostic labs/imaging
• Perform EMGs (if able)
• Oversee the patient’s diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries, mild to moderate closed head injuries and post traumatic headaches
• Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury
• Documentation- timely and accurate
• Proffering testimony on behalf of some patients treated.
• Collaboration with colleagues and staff for comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

• MD/DO from an accredited educational institution.
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of PA
• Board Certified in Neurology
• Legal experience and willing to do depositions a plus

Schedule:

• Part time (1-2 times per month OR 1-2 times per week if able to perform EMGs)
• No Call or Weekends!

Salary:

• $300-$350 per hour
