The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at the University of Utah School of Medicine is seeking a Pediatric Gastroenterologist to provide care in inpatient and outpatient settings, working primarily at St. Vincent in Billings, Montana.

The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology at the University of Utah currently has 15 physicians, 4 advanced practice nurse clinicians, 6 registered nurses, and 3 pediatric GI fellows.

The Division has all pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition clinical services represented with the exception of small bowel transplantation. The program is one of the only centers in the country with a pediatric ERCP/advanced endoscopy program. Additional programs include fully equipped and staffed endoscopy suites, a gastrointestinal Motility Disorders Center, a multidisciplinary IBD program, and more.

Your day.

 

As a Pediatric Gastroenterologist you’ll work with a strong team to provide top-notch care and patient experience. 

  • You would practice at St. Vincent in Billings, MT
  • Your hours will be Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm and Fri 8am-2pm
  • You would provide outreach services to rural areas surrounding Billings
  • You will be joining an established group with a great team dynamic.
  • Throughout the day you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with strong nursing support and other specialties 

 

Your experience.

 

We hire people, not words on paper. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

  • MD or DO degree from fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
  • Residency trained in Pediatrics.
  • Fellowship trained in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
  • American board certification/eligibility in required specialty.
  • Able to obtain a Montana medical license.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
