Pediatrics Hospital Based job located in Alaska

Seeking BC Pediatric Physician for late September target start, 6 months or until perm in place
-Clinic Monday-Friday, 8a-5p. Call is 24 hours – covers inpatient rounding in labor and delivery and med/surg as well as ED consultation. 7-10 day stretches, as well as weekends and/or holidays.
-3+ months; 6 months highly preferred
-Minimum number of shifts required per month? Half time (to split with another locums); full time highly preferred
-Will rotate 24 hour call shifts with other physicians on site. While on call will have inpatient responsibilities – covers inpatient rounding in labor and delivery and med/surg as well as ED consultation. Inpatient unit has 20 beds and 5 nursery beds
-Patients per Day/Volume: 16 for clinic
-Type of Patients/Cases: regular clinic; while on call will see hospitalized patients and do ED/OB consults; will see newborns
-Procedures/Cases Required: none requested
-Support Staff: other Ped physicians, nursing
-Responsible of Mid-Level Providers: No
-EMR: EPIC – must be proficient
Requirements: BLS, NRP, AK lic, DEA and COVID Vaccine.
