We invite a confident Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to practice in this desirable suburb of Portland. This is a full time, employed position on the medical staff of a respected 200+ bed medical center that is part of the state’s second largest healthcare system. This nonprofit hospital accepts all patients, regardless of their ability to pay. You will join the Integrated Behavioral Health Team in their Gorham office – one of several outpatient primary care practices where cohesive teams focus on delivering the best integrated, holistic care for each patient. In this important role you will address the physical symptoms, emotional concerns and actions that may hinder your patients’ progress towards optimal health. You will encounter conditions such as anger, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, obesity, post-traumatic stress, sleep disturbances, substance abuse, and more.
