Seeking a BE/BC pulmonary/critical care physician to join a group of 8 physicians in a growing inpatient and outpatient practice. Clinic location is adjacent to Hospital One physician takes home call on week nights. Weekend coverage includes 1 physician on Pulmonary Service and another physician on Intensivist service. Ability to do 100% Pulmonary/Critical Care and Sleep Medicine 6 weeksand#8217; vacation 5 administrative days following each 7 day ICU rotation 8-bed Sleep Diagnostic Center, active home sleep apnea testing program State-of-the-art Imaging Center with X-Ray, CT, MRI, and PET/CT 28-bed ICU and 16-bed Pulmonary Acute Care Unit, 16 bed hybrid Neuro ICU/Neuro Acute Unit covered by a dedicated Neuro Critical Care Boarded Neuro Intensivists Hospitalists and eICU coverage in the evenings Provide pulmonary inpatient service Faculty opportunity in the Internal Medicine Department of the University of South Dakota Active lung cancer screening program Cardiopulmonary exercise testing Active EBUS program Outreach opportunities Hospital has consistently scored in the top 50 for US Hospitals for Pulmonary according to US News and World Report Weekly Lung Tumor Board Monthly Interstitial Lung Disease multi-disciplinary conference eCARE model for extending access to specialist via technology: eICU, eEmergency, eConsult, ePharmacy, ePrescribing, eLTC and eStroke 2 year income guarantee, loan assistance and a generous benefit package Hospital is a 545-bed tertiary care center, recognized for excellence in areas such as stroke and heart care, cancer treatment, emergency and trauma, critical care, neurosciences, bone marrow, kidney and pancreas transplant programs, medical research and teaching programs.
