Community based hospital Radiology practice of 5 (4 Diagnostic and 1 IR) seeks another full service Radiologist, Mammo capability preferred.  All IR is covered by the IR except for mammo biopsies.  Practice coverage at a 107 bed acute care hospital and diagnostic reads to local clinics and urgent care.  Expect 100+ studies per day (depending on whether “in season” of “off season”).  Two weekday shifts 8am – 4pm and 12 noon – 8pm.  Weekends and holidays are 8am – 7pm.  No week night call as nighthawk is in place at 8pm.  Weekend call average to every 4/5^th.  Option for paid internal moonlighting if more weekends are taken to supplement income ($4,500/weekend).  Receive 426k ($35,500/mo) first year with increase in 2^nd year.  20k sign on bonus, 10 weeks vacation first and second year (12 weeks after 2^nd), up to 10k relo, 3k CME, malpractice with tail.  No buy in partnership after 2nd year earning 550k.  Enjoy southern California’s Imperial Valley.  Explore San Diego, Los Angeles, Big Bear and Palm Springs, all a short drive away.
