Physician owned practice of 17 Radiologists and 1 physician extender is actively recruiting additional Radiologists.  The practice covers 2 community hospitals, 1 outpatient emergency room/surgical center, 2 dedicated breast imaging centers and remotely covers numerous outpatient imaging centers throughout the area. Salary offer for both positions  will be commensurate with experience between 300k to 400k with all benefits.  All shareholder track physicians participate equally in the weekend diagnostic call responsibilities- 2 7 hour shifts per month.   Nighthawk handles all overnight call.    

• Neurorad – spend 60-70% of your time in your sub-specialty.  Mammo nor high end IR procedures will be required for this position. 
• Breast Imager (must be fellowship trained).  The position will afford 5 days a week in the Mammography division performing screenings, diagnostic studies, MRIs, BSGI and procedures to include radioactive seed localization, within one of their two dedicated Breast Imaging Centers.  All biopsies are performed ‘in-house’ by the groups mammographers.  The mammography division has excellent support staff and facilities, excellent rapport with the referring clinicians and close working relationships with the breast surgeons and oncologists.  Daily volume is 70 screenings, 20-25 diagnostic US, 5 US/stereotactic bx, 1 Radioactive seed localization, 2-5 DX MRI, 1-2 MRI bx and 2-4 BSGI’s per week.  There is a weekly multidisciplinary tumor board to discuss interesting and relevant cases.  Salary offer for both positions is 325–350k first year with 25k increase in 2^nd year (350-375k for 10 year experienced Rad) with 25k increase in 2^nd year.  Full benefits include 12 weeks off (same as shareholders), 5k CME, family health coverage, 50k group life insurance, malpractice and more.   Shareholder status end of 2^nd year (nominal $1,000 stock purchase fee).  Located in a beautiful, coastal location in Southeastern Virginia with access to the beaches, mountains and the Chesapeake Bay.  East drive to Washington DC, Virginia Beach and Richmond.
