Hospitalist job located in Connecticut

A not-for-profit 297-bed acute-care community hospital in south central Connecticut has an opening for a Nocturnist. The hospital has been awarded Healthgrades? ?America?s 100 Best Hospitals??and named a Top Workplace in the Hartford Courant for consecutive years.

About the Opportunity:

• 12 shifts per month
• Shift times are 4 pm-4 am and 7 pm-7 am
• Hospitalists maintain a fair and manageable daily census
• Epic EMR
• Closed ICU and no procedures required
• Flexible scheduling to optimize work-life balance
• Excellent support and collegiality with nursing, ancillary staff, and specialists
• Clinical responsibilities include admitting, consulting with specialists, attending to RRTs and codes, and cross-covering on some nights.
• Work collaboratively with specialists, which involves pre-operative assessments and co-management of surgical patients
• Offering a robust annual salary along with CME time and funds
• The benefits package includes health, dental, and malpractice with tail coverage, along with a 403(b) retirement
