OB-GYN Hospitalist Opportunity – New Program LaunchSequoia Hospital | Redwood City, CA

Responsibilities

We are launching a brand-new OB-GYN Hospitalist program at Sequoia Hospital and are seeking four OB-GYN Hospitalists plus one OB-GYN Hospitalist Medical Director to help build and shape this exciting service line from the ground up. Why This Opportunity Stands Out

Position Details
  • Schedule: 24-hour, in-house shifts
  • Team Structure: 5 OB-GYN Hospitalists
  • Clinical Scope:
    • OB and GYN triage/surgery
    • Labor & delivery management
    • Obstetric and gynecologic emergencies
    • Inpatient consults
Clinical Environment
  • Hospital Deliveries: ~1,200 births annually
  • Level II NICU with Medical Director support from Stanford
  • Maternal-Fetal Medicine support from Stanford
  • Collaborative care alongside community OB/GYNs and nursing teams
Medical Director OpportunityWe are also seeking a Medical Director to provide clinical leadership, guide program development, and drive quality initiatives. Prior leadership experience preferred.   • Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • 5 years of clinical experience preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to thrive in a team-based model

Benefits and Compensation

Pay Range Based on Hours: Annual compensation is $312,000 - $438,000. Medical Director stipend is $25,000.Regular full-time is classified as team members who are consistently scheduled and work 30 hours or more on a weekly basis.
