Flexible On-Site & Remote Reading | No Call Responsibility
Redington-Fairview General Hospital is a progressive rural hospital seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Diagnostic Radiologist to join our collaborative imaging team. This position offers a unique opportunity to practice broad-spectrum radiology, maintain professional autonomy, and make a meaningful impact in a close-knit community healthcare system — all with no call responsibility.

• Established Imaging Department – Join a team with one employed radiologist and additional contracted radiology coverage, supported by experienced technologists and strong clinical partnerships throughout the hospital.

- Fuji Synapse PACS
- PowerScribe Dictation System
• Reasonable Daily Volume
- Approximately 70–90 reads per day
• Collaborative Environment – Work in a collegial hospital setting with strong collaboration across departments.

Key Responsibilities
• Interpret a variety of diagnostic imaging studies in a timely and accurate manner
Imaging Modalities
- X-Ray
- Bone Density
- CT
- MRI
- Ultrasound
- Nuclear Medicine
- Mammography
Procedures
- Upper and Lower GI Barium Studies
- Modified Barium Swallows
- Cystograms
- Hysterosalpingograms
- Arthrograms
- Mammographic Stereotactic Biopsies and Needle Localizations (preferred)
Additional responsibilities include:
• Collaborating with referring physicians and healthcare providers to support patient diagnosis and treatment planning
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives and departmental activities
• Maintaining accurate documentation and utilizing hospital systems for reporting and communication
• Supporting and maintaining high standards of patient care and safety
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited Radiology residency program
- Board eligible or board certified in Radiology
- Must obtain board certification within the timeframe required by the appropriate specialty board
- Eligible for medical licensure
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
