Vascular Surgeon Locums Job in Florida | Inpatient Call Coverage for 3 Days in December | Ongoing Intermittent Vacation Needs in 2027
Jackson and Coker is partnered with a facility on the eastern Florida coast that needs a Vascular Surgeon to assist with 24-hour call coverage for a short stretch this coming December 2026 & ongoing in 2027 for intermittent vacation dates. If you're looking to pick up some extra work here & there without making a large commitment, this is the right opportunity for you.
Dates of Coverage:
-- 7AM 12/28 - 7AM 12/31
* Potential for ongoing call coverage needs in the future, specific dates are TBD
PRIVILEGING REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to provide two leadership references and one peer reference from the last 24 months (CMO, Chief of Staff, Medical Staff president, Surgery/ENT Dept. Chair, Cred. committee chair, etc.)
- Must be able to provide up to date case logs
- Must have a clean background (no red flags or malpractice settlements)
Details/Requirements for Assignment #115527:
-- Active Florida license + current DEA required
-- Seeking currently Board Certified or truly Board Eligible Vascular Surgeons
-- Bread & butter Vascular Surgery call coverage support
-- Will be covering unattached ED patients + attached patients from the practice
-- 100% inpatient work to include: daily patient rounding, emergent procedures + new consults
-- Will have first assist Vascular Surgery APP support (APPs don't do rounding)
-- Facility is a designated level 2 trauma center - has full trauma support staff
-- Patient volume will vary but between 5-8 PPD
-- Facility detail: 490+ bed facility, designated level II trauma center, Epic EMR
