Privately-Owned, Growing Urgent Care Facility Seeking Friendly Physician Assistant on Long Island with 1+ years of experience working in an emergency department or an urgent care center. Must be proficient in treating adult and pediatric cases. Must be proficient in procedures such as abscess incision and drainage, laceration repair, foreign body removal from the eye, ear, nose and skin. Must also be proficient in IV placement, EKG interpretation, x-ray interpretation, pelvic exams, orthopedic splinting. Must be proficient in the diagnosis and management of gynecological, obstetrical, orthopedic, ophthalmic, and traumatic urgent and emergent disease processes. Should have ACLS, PALS, and BLS certification.

We are not a push through center that treats patients and push them out the door. We give patients time, attention, and address their needs.
