Family Practitioner Needed near the Outer Banks
Martin General Hospital in Williamston, N.C. is actively seeking a Board Certified Family Practice physician to go into an independent practice and assume the patient volume of a retiring physician. Hospital employed position.
Martin General is located an hour and a half due east of Raleigh-Durham via Interstate 64. It's less than half an hour from Greenville, the location of East Carolina University Medical School. Williamston is also within twenty-five minutes of marinas on Albemarle Sound and Pamlico Sound. The largest equestrian center in North Carolina is also located in Williamston.
Practice considerations:
* Traditional family medicine practice caring for both inpatients and outpatients
* Hospitalist service available
* Call = 1:5
* Will start in 2012 or 2013
* ED visits in 2011 were 12,514
* The hospital seeks to be in the top 10% of hospitals in the US for HCAHPS, core measures and customer satisfaction and is seeking a physician aligned with these values.
