Part time (1-2 times per month)

We are seeking a compassionate Physician to join our medical practice part time in Columbus, OH. Our ideal Physician has tact and skill in patient management, excellent communication skills, and enjoys working as a part of a comprehensive team to offer our patients the best care possible, that they need and deserve! The incoming physician will be providing care for our patient base of workers comp and personal injury, doing consultations, recommendations, medication, and injections for work injuries and personal injury. This position is flexible on days and times, working 1-2 days per month, with the potential for additional days/times worked in the future. We will consider Physician from a variety of backgrounds to include Neurologist, Orthopedists, Pain Management, or Family Practice/Internal Medicine physician with Sports Medicine background.

Job Duties:

• Patient care and management- initial medical consults and patient follow up
• Recommend tests and conducts diagnostic testing to determine extent of injury and to determine appropriate treatment.
• Order Diagnostic labs/imaging as needed
• Oversee the patient’s diagnosis and treatment of workers comp/personal injuries
• Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury
• Documentation - timely and accurate
• Order/refer to in house therapies as needed
• Collaboration with colleagues and staff for comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

• MD/DO from an accredited educational institution.
• BCBE Neurologist, Orthopedists, Pain Management, or Family Practice/Internal Medicine physician with Sports Medicine background
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of OH
• A plus if Bilingual in Spanish/English

Schedule:

• Part time (1-2 days per month) days and hours negotiable
• Our office hours M-Th 8-5pm
• No Call or Weekends!

Salary:

• $100-$150 per hour
