We are looking for a motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our medical practice in Chicago, IL. We are looking for a provider who can join us on either a part-time basis or full-time basis providing direct patient care. Our ideal NP is holistically minded, comfortable working within an integrated setting, collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected team of professionals, to offer a comprehensive approach to patients living with acute and chronic pain. Job duties include performing trigger point and joint injections.

Duties:

• Patient exam/evaluation medical and functional exams (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent med records/imaging)
• Order and review tests/labs when medically necessary
• Blood draws and preparing labs
• Allergy testing
• Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
• Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment options, and post care instructions
• Manage patient care
• Treatments to include perform trigger point and joint injections
• Writing medical orders
• Documentation and progress notes
• Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

• Graduation from and accredited NP program
• NP license in IL
• Orthopedic, Physical Med and Rehab, or Pain management background is a plus
• Experience with trigger point and joint injections a plus
• Bilingual a plus

Compensation:

• $60-$100/hr

Schedule:

• Flexible
• Full time vs Part time
• Office hours M,W,F 9:30a-7:30pm and T 2:30p-7:30p
