Job Description

Physician Assistant Nurse Practitioner West Dundee, IL (45 min NW of Chicago)

Signing bonus plus bonus compensation!

Mon- Friday with ½ day on Fridays!

We are looking for a motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our medical practice full time in West Dundee, IL. Our ideal provider is comfortable collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected team of professionals, is empathic, resolute in their decision making, and attentive to detail. The incoming Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant must be able to administer intra-articular injections including PRP, HA, trigger point therapy, and run IVs. The PA/NP will be a leader at our clinic and have significant responsibility and oversight of clinical operations. This position will be under indirect supervision by an MD. Experience leading teams of professionals and working in a team setting is preferred.

Duties:

  • Patient exam/evaluation (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent med records/imaging)
  • Order and review diagnostic tests
  • Diagnosis and treatment care plan formulation
  • Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment options, rehab/exercises and various modalities, and how to manage and prevent illness and injury
  • Manage patient care
  • Treatments- Performing trigger point, PRP, and hyaluronic acid injections
  • Monitoring and operating medical equipment
  • Documentation and progress notes
  • Consulting with healthcare professionals and supervisory physician as needed
  • Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care
  • Detecting patient health changes and modifying treatment plans as needed

Requirements:

  • Graduation from and accredited Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) program
  • PA/NP license in IL
  • Competency in Spanish is a plus
  • Prescriptive authority and controlled substance license
  • Experience in primary care preferred
  • Knowledge of computer-based data management programs, information systems, medical records, and point-of-interview technology
  • Supervising experience: 1 year (Preferred)

Schedule:

  • M-Thurs: 8:30am to 6:30pm
  • Fri: 9am – 12:30pm

Compensation:

  • $110k to $115k plus bonus compensation (up to $10k per year)
  • Or $50/hr
