4-day work week
We are looking for a motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our medical practice in fernley, NV. Ideally, the incoming Nurse Practitioner has at least 1 year experience working as a Nurse Practitioner, is compassionate, caring, optimistic, self-motivated and gets excited about a challenge. We prefer a candidate with experience in joint injections as the Job duties include performing trigger point and joint injections. You will be an essential piece of our integrated clinic and will work in tandem to collaborate with professionals to result in the most effective treatment plans and clinical outcomes.

Duties:
- Patient exam/evaluation (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent med records/imaging)
- Order and review tests/labs
- Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation (determine if and which services they could benefit from)
- Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment options, rehab/exercises and various modalities, and the need for, and progress through, the care plan
- Manage patient care
- Treatments- administer injections (trigger point, joint, etc.)
- Documentation and progress notes
- Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care
- Monitor patients for improvements and set-backs so as to modify services to help patients meet or exceed expectations
- Monitor patients for compliance and effectively communicate the need to follow recommendations
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Nurse Practitioner license in NV (Includes licenses NP, DEA, CDS - NV licenses preferred)
- Orthopedic, Physical Med and Rehab, or Pain management background is a plus
- Experience with joint injections a plus
- Fully eligible for Malpractice Insurance in Nevada
Compensation:
- $120,000 - $130,000 (DOE)
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday
- 4-day work week
