Job Description
Seeking a full-time Inpatient Psychiatric Nurse Practioner
Shift as assigned + call, some weekend extenders
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is responsible for managing mental health problems and coordinating health and wellness programs for Bay Area Hospital patients in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations and within the nursing standards of care.
Adult-only patients
Acute and acutely chronic mentally ill
13 inpatient beds
1 MD + 1 PNP are additional providers on site
May be required to lift up to 75 pounds
May require periodic use of personal computer
Requirements: OR state license, Board Certification, 2 years' minimum experience as Inpatient Psychiatric NP
