It is a Joint Commission-accredited, not-for-profit acute care community hospital delivering quality care to the residents of Walker County and its surrounding communities. Growing 96 staffed beds facility with new tower in planning stage. Precept in the new Family Medicine Residency program launched in affiliation with Sam Houston State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
