Otolaryngology Single Specialty Group job located in California

Santa Clarita ENT ((Login for Information)) is nationally recognized for being a leader in the field of otolaryngology and we are eager to expand our team of providers to continue top-quality patient treatment; we are looking to add a Staff Physician to our roster of medical professionals for our growing ENT practice at our Valencia / Palmdale location.

Here are some duties and responsibilities:

• Administer excellent patient care
• Work with Physicians to prescribe and administer treatments
• Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment
• Document and update patient records thoroughly and diligently in the electronic medical record system
• Follow all departmental policies and procedures
• Keep up-to-date with medical procedures, developments, treatments and available medication
• Comply with federal and state privacy laws, always respecting a patient’s confidentiality

Our ideal candidate will have a variety of skills, including:

• Strong verbal and written communication with both patients and fellow staff members
• Excellent attention to detail
• Knowledge of diagnostic equipment and procedures
• Good interpersonal skills; flexibility to work efficiently with a variety of people, differing in ages, personalities and backgrounds
• Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
• A current California state license, DEA, and Controlled Substance Certificate
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Computer literacy with experience in EMR systems
