Pain Management Multi Specialty Group job located in Pennsylvania

Physician Hershey, PA

Part time- 1 day per week

$1000- $2000 per day

We are looking for a physician to join our medical group part time, to provide direct patient care as well as supervision of the PA/NPs on staff at our office in Hershey, PA. The Physician will be supervising the PA’s/NPs remotely by phone/text and will also be working one day per week of direct patient care performing injection procedures.

The physician’s duties will be to perform orthopedic focused exams and administer joint injections in an out-patient setting for our clinic in Hershey. Great work/life balance with no call, nights, or holidays. The right candidate will be seeing patients, reviewing patient charts/X-Rays/MRIs to determine the best possible course of action and treatment for their pain.

Duties:

• Perform injections/procedures- to include joint injections, 1 day per week
• Supervisory role of the PA/NP
• Be available via phone/text for remote guidance when not in the clinic
• Perform randomized patient/chart review to assure proper treatment procedures are being followed
• Availability for consultation and direction of the PA/NP
• Can work remote, off site for chart reviews and most supervision
• Direct patient care (history and physical exams focused on joint injuries) Review patient records as needed
• Treatment plan formulation and recommend options for patients
• Answer patient’s questions and concerns
• Interpret/read x-rays and MRI

Requirements:

• BCBE in Pain Management, Family medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, or PM&R preferred
• Prior experience/background in joint injections
• MD or DO License to Practice Medicine in PA

Schedule:

• 1 day per week for direct patient care

Compensation (range):

• $1000- $2000 / day plus bonus compensation based on volume
