The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is seeking a board certified/board eligible PM&R physician to join their expanding faculty. The successful candidate will provide care on a CARF-accredited General Rehabilitation, Spinal Cord Injury, and/or Traumatic Brain Injury inpatient unit as well as in an outpatient clinical setting. The department serves the rehabilitation needs of the 1.4 million people in a 29-county region of eastern North Carolina and is located within a health rehabilitation Center with Spinal Cord, Brain Injury, General Rehab, and Pediatric Rehabilitation Units.

- Opportunities exist for performance of EMGs and ultrasounds and other outpatient clinical needs including outpatient musculoskeletal clinics in our newly developed Ortho/Musculoskeletal service line, amputee care, spasticity management including baclofen pumps, Botox and phenol, EMG/NCS, and wound/hyperbaric medicine
