Psychiatrist Position in Raleigh, NC

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. As a Psychiatrist, you will provide comprehensive mental health care to patients in an inpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of psychiatry experience.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses.
• Develop treatment plans and provide evidence-based care.
• Collaborate with a team of Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) and psychologists.
• Ensure patient safety and well-being.

Qualifications:

• Board Certification (BC) in Psychiatry.
• North Carolina state licensure (must be fully licensed for consideration).

Schedule and Compensation:

• Start Date: ASAP upon credentialing.
• Duration: 13 weeks with a likely extension.
• Work Hours: Monday to Friday, on-site coverage (40 hours per week, no nights or weekends).
• On-call/Callback: Not required.
• Charting: No at-home charting.

Patient Volume:

• Approximately 8-12 patients per day.
