Additional Rads Needed in Ohio    P076 

A well-established private practice located in western Ohio is seeking a few Radiologists.    They are currently a 10-physician subspecialized practice at a single hospital system searching for replacements due the upcoming retirement of a partners.  The positions are within a 435-bed hospital which anchors the major regional medical center for a 10-county area.   For the Neuro and generalist must be partnership track positions and take call.  Salary is 400k, weekend call is 1:4,  comprehensive benefit package to include 11 weeks’ vacation.

  • Neurorad -  New hire can expect 50% Neuro, balance in general.   This position requires interpretation of inpatient and outpatient neuroradiology studies as well as solid training and proficiency in general radiology.     Interest in an additional subspecialty is an advantage but is not required.  1:4 call.
  • Generalist – Ideal applicant would be proficient in Neuro as well as general diagnostics.   New hire will work   Monday through Friday, hours are 12 pm to 9 pm with a one-hour break making for an 8-hour shift.  1:4 call.
  • Breast Imager – for this position new hire can choose from partnership track (with call) or employed position (no call).  For employed position, salary is 400k with 10 weeks’ vacation and comprehensive benefit package, no weekends are required.   For Partnership position, salary is 400k, 11 weeks’ vacation and call is 1:4. 

For the Partnership  positions, partnership is at the end of  2nd year and compensation has historically been in the upper quartile of national and state averages.   Vacation is commensurate with partners from the beginning (but set to increase to 12 to 14 weeks with the projected addition of a women’s imaging radiologist).   Comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, disability insurance, medical malpractice, 401k plan and additional pension plan.  CME and relocation funds are provided.  The community is located between Toledo and Dayton. It has a relatively low cost-of-living as well as the cultural, entertainment and recreational opportunities consistent with a city of its size. If a larger metropolitan area is desired, an easy commute from Columbus where partners do and have lived.  Additional major metropolitan areas such as Cincinnati, Cleveland, Chicago and Detroit are within easy driving distance.
