Western South Carolina
Medical Center is seeking a locum BC Neurosurgeon ASAP
Setting: 100% Hospital
24 hour call coverage; 7a-7a
Level II Trauma Designation
Teaching facility
EMR System: EPIC
Patient Demographics: 100% Adult
No other neurosurgeons present during coverage; PA onsite Monday-Friday only
No new grads - must have great experience, ratings, and trainings
Required Duties/Procedures:
•Burr Hole Evacuation of Subdural Hematoma
•Craniotomy for Evacuation of subdural hematoma, epidural hematoma, intracerebral hematoma
•Burr Hole Placement of Ventriculostomy (External Ventricular Drain)
•Cervical, thoracic, and lumber non-instrumented spine procedures
Requirements: active SC license and DEA, 100% clean background
