Addiction Medicine job located in Massachusetts

A large medical group south of Boston is seeking a Medical Director of Addiction Medicine who leads the development and growth of the SUD program, including the hospital-based Addiction Consult Service. The medical director ensures the optimal function of all facets of the program across all departments.

About the Opportunity:

• Full-time position
• 0.6 FTE, with 0.4 administrative duties and 0.2 clinical
• Strategic and future planning for the program, including the hospital-based Addiction Consult Service, and leading the effort to integrate SUD Services throughout the organization and community
• Expanding the program to include all abused substances and treatment modalities
• Expand our collaborative relationships and efforts, creating new partnerships and relationships with other community organizations and partners
• Reporting directly to the chief of primary care and working collaboratively with the CMO
• Managing and completing peer review activities to ensure compliance
