ROLE OVERVIEW
Join a non-profit hospital-owned multi-specialty group serving the surrounding community. 2 Davinci XI robots. Teaching facility for Internal Medicine. Hospital and its physicians provide patient-centered healthcare as part of the Planetree Model. H-1B Cap Exempt. Willing to sponsor Green Card applications.
DUTIES
- Mix of clinical & administrative responsibilities with chance to teach
- Lead a multidisciplinary group of advanced heart-failure specialists, electrophysiologists, interventionalists, invasive and noninvasive cardiologists, advanced imaging and structural heart specialists, cardiothoracic surgeons, advanced practitioners & nurses all dedicated to providing unrivaled cardiac care at one of New England's highest-volume cardiovascular institutes
- Function as a Cardiologist in your area of expertise as a member of the Heart and Vascular Service.
- Clinical opportunities include but are not limited to non-invasive, electrophysiology & advanced heart failure cardiology for both inpatient and ambulatory services
- Participate in on-call coverage with other cardiologists
- Provide quality supervision of residents, medical students, nurses, medical assistants & other clinical staff

SKILLS
• Experienced in leadership and clinical Cardiology/Cardiovascular/ Heart & Vascular Care
• Completion of an accredited Cardiology fellowship program
• Ability to obtain/maintain medical license in Connecticut
• Board certified in Cardiovascular Medicine
• Graduation from accredited medical school (MD or DO)
