Job Description
This southwest Georgia medical center, a JCAHO accredited facility, has an immediate need for a board certified/board eligible Gastroenterology Hospitalist to join an established, hospital-employed GI service for 26 weeks or more per year. We offer a state-of-the-art endoscopy unit with anesthesia for all cases. We have excellent experienced APP support for both IP and OP.
Opportunity Details:
· Flexible Schedule: Hospitalist model 7 on / 7 off or 14 on / 14 off
· Large procedure rooms with the latest technology and the ability to perform EUS, ERCP and much more
· A new Omega state-of-the-art fluoroscopy room and additional OEC C-arm.
· The latest generation Olympus endoscopes
· The latest generation specialized Fuji endoscopes for upper endoscopy and double balloon enteroscopy
· EUS consoles from Olympus (including the latest EUS console Aloka Arietta 850)
· Spyglass, Exalt, Ultrasound mini-probes
· Highly trained endoscopy staff
