Northeast Ohio - Hematology/Oncology

Cancer Center Medical Director Opportunity:

Opportunity
Located in Northeast Ohio, Hospital Cancer Center welcomes applications and inquiries from Board Certified surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists and medical oncologists with a passion for leadership. The ideal candidate for the Cancer Center Medical Director role will have a strong directorship and research background. In this role, the Medical Director will work collaboratively with the Cancer Team to create the vision that bonds the research and medical resources within the Hospital and apply it to patient care.

Hospital, established in 1891, is now a nationally recognized and Cancer Program committed to the physicians, patients, employees, quality, education, and the surrounding community. In addition to maintaining accreditation through the Commission on Cancer since 1986, Hospital's Breast Care Center was also accredited in 2001 by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers. Hospital currently has 13 medical oncologists, three radiation oncologists, and 129 surgeons committed to maintaining the highest caliber of care that our patients have come to expect. These physicians have immediate access to state-of-the-art equipment and highly-skilled clinical staff.
