Job Description
Seeking an OB/GYN Physician
--Outpatient clinical role – no inpatient
--Standard office hours (Mon-Thurs: 8am-5pm / Friday 8am-12pm)
--Protected administrative time (4.5 days clinic time with .5-day admin time per week). 36 patient contact hours / 4 admin hours
--Call and Town Call Schedule: Shared among all physicians on a 1:6 to 1:7 rotation. On-call duties include phone consultations, attending deliveries, and providing emergency care as needed.
--Cerner EMR
--Dedicated nurse and shared medical assistant
--7 physicians currently (2 more coming in the next 6mo-year) / 2 APPs and 1 CNM coming onboard
--Average Patient Volume: 22-27 patients per day
--Patient Census: Women of all ages, from adolescent to geriatric care
--Demographics: Prenatal care, normal and high-risk pregnancies, well-woman exams, menopausal management, and gynecologic surgeries
--Visit Types: Prenatal visits, routine annual exams, gynecologic problem visits, and surgical consultations.
--Typical Procedures: Deliveries (both vaginal and cesarean), hysterectomies, laparoscopic surgeries, and office procedures like IUD placements and colposcopies.
--Support Services: L&D, postpartum, nursery, and C-section OR are all located on the same floor for ease of access. --The OB/GYN team is supported by in-house APRNs on the busiest days.
--L&D Setup: L&D services are across the hall from postpartum care (no LDRP model).
--Nursery Level II
--Sign-on Bonus: $30k+ sign-on bonus to assist with the transition.
