ONCOLOGY NURSE PRACTIONER

WASHINGTON STATE

We are currently looking for an Oncology Nurse Practitioner to join a new outpatient clinic in Washington over looking Mt. Rainier!!  With this opportunity, you will provide clinical evaluation, diagnosis and treatment to Oncology and Hematology patients, working in collaboration with Medical Oncologist, Naturopathic Oncologist, Acupuncturist, and clinic staff in an integrative setting. To serve as the supportive care practitioner for patients by completing treatment education visits, survivorship care and collaborative advanced-care planning visits with Oncology Social Work team. To serve as a resource and role model to staff by modeling compassion, motivation and kindness to patients, colleagues, and the community.

EXPERIENCE:

• 1 YEAR Oncology Experience
• 1 year Hematology experience (preferred)
• Washington state license (Or willing to achieve one)
• Supervisory experience Preferred
• Passion for helping patients

DUTIES:

• Evaluations, treatment planning
• Oversee clinical triage intake
• EHR documentation 
• Review/approve patient orders for internal treatments
• Spearhead internal committees for clinical education
• Document patient diagnoses to include specified diagnostic codes, clinical staging, treatment setting, pathological confirmation, diagnostic grading, comorbidities, and treatment intent.
