Job Posting: Pathologist for Second Opinion Consultations

Location: San Diego and Greater Los Angeles Areas 
Position: Pathologist (Part-time/Full-time/Flexible Schedule)

About Us:
We are a leading healthcare provider seeking a dedicated and experienced Internist to join our team. We are contracted by the Department of Disability under Social Security Administration to perform third-party evaluations for claimants applying for disability. Our clinics are situated in convenient locations across the Greater Los Angeles and San Diego areas, including Glendale, Simi Valley, Long Beach, Lynwood, Hawthorne, Downtown Los Angeles, Panorama City, Huntington Park, and Mission Valley in San Diego.

Position Overview:
As an Pathologist, you will be responsible for performing second opinion medical examinations. Your role will focus solely on providing consultations, without the responsibilities of treatments, follow-ups, prescriptions, or on-call shifts. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise while enjoying a flexible work schedule. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough second opinion consultations for patients.
  • Review medical histories and relevant documentation.
  • Provide clear and concise assessments to patients and referring providers.
  • Collaborate with our fully staffed clinic to streamline the reporting process.

Qualifications:

  • master's degree in speech-language pathology (MS-SLP)
  • Board certification preferred but not necessary.
  • Active license in the state of California.
