Inpatient Child Psychiatrist Locums Job in Massachusetts

Join a fast-paced, short-stay inpatient behavioral health facility in Massachusetts supporting a 16-bed Child & Adolescent unit. Work within a structured, team-driven environment with strong clinical leadership and built-in support. This locums opportunity offers predictable weekday hours, no required call, and a quick onboarding process.

Details/Requirements:
--Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
--No Required Weekends or Call: Optional call may be available for permanent hires
--Setting: Short-stay inpatient stabilization psychiatry
--Patient Volume: Average 12 patients per day (may flex up to 16)
--Patient Population: 16-bed Child & Adolescent unit (ages 13–18)
--Length of Stay: Average 10–15 days
--Credentialing: 2–3 weeks

Clinical Support:
--Medical Director provides clear structure, templates, and defined workflow expectations
--On-site APP carries a lighter caseload and assists with coverage and training
--Providers manage patients from admission through discharge; admissions flow in as discharges occur
