Urology Hospital Based job located in South Carolina
Job Description
Seeking a Full Time Locum BC Urologist to start ASAP - Ongoing
• Clinic will be required
• Will be assisting with getting surgery cases current (we are currently severely backlogged)
• Rounding on In-Patients, performing procedures as needed, and responding to consults as called upon
• Standard urology procedures include: stone care, stents, caths, cystoscopes, torsions (pediatrics included), incidental appendectomy, adrenal surgery, hernia repair, endourology procedures, hand assisted laparoscopic nephrectomy, etc.
• MUST be comfortable with trauma/open procedures – i.e. gun shot wounds that involves kidneys or testicles, stab wounds, bladder repair, etc.
• Level 1 trauma center and is a very busy and large facility
• EMR – EPIC
• SC Licensed - including SC Medical, SC CSR and DEA.
