Well-established group seeks an experienced physician to serve as Market Medical Director. This leadership position provides oversight for 4-6 outpatient managed care clinics while also maintaining a limited clinical practice. Responsibilities include setting a strong example for delivering high-quality primary care, mentoring and leading the primary care team and helping support clinical excellence throughout the market. Work schedule consists of Mon-Fri from 8am-5pm w/no nights, no weekends & no inpatient responsibilities. Compensation includes a generous salary, Medical Director stipend, incentives, sign-on bonus, relocation, vacation, CME, comprehensive benefits, retirement, malpractice coverage and more.
Area serves approximately 500K residents and offers a variety of school options, a vibrant downtown, an abundance of dining options, recreational and cultural amenities and convenient access to Birmingham and other nearby attractions.
